I sent an incorrect payment.
Every payment on the Stellar network is irreversible. If you have sent a payment with the wrong destination, a wrong amount, an incorrect memo, or if you have forgotten to include a transaction memo, it is advisable to contact the receiver directly for a solution. If a payment is made to an exchange that should only be carried out with a memo, and Balance Wallet has nevertheless carried the transaction without a memo, please report it to the receiver directly for a solution.
I have made a transaction but the receiver has not received it.
While the Balance Wallet app provides a user-friendly wallet, we do not execute the transactions on our system. The underlying Lantah Network is decentralized and operated by several different organizations worldwide. Payments made on the Lantah Network are not reversible. Only the receiver of your payment can provide you with a refund manually.
To check if the transaction is carried out on the Lantah Network, you can simply type in and check your wallet’s public key or the transaction ID on Lantah Lab (https://lab.lantah.network). If the transaction is recorded the system, it must have been carried out correctly. If the balance on your wallet doesn’t update, try closing and re-opening the app.
I have lost my secret key
The Balance Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, this means only you have the secret key. Lantah, not any other party, has access to your password, secret keys, or account. You are solely responsible for the safety of your secret key. Without the secret key, funds can not be recovered. We highly recommend you backup your secret key in a secure manor and store it in multiple safe locations.
